About Me :

Wildframe Amit Mishra Wildlife Photpography

I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and an ardent wildlife photographer by choice. My fondness for wildlife and animals has been since childhood , may be trigger by the fact that my father was a Veterinary Doctor in the Indian Army and animal and wilderness was always around.  I am a self taught  Photographer with internet as my Guru. I click my shots not only within the confines of National Parks and Sanctuaries, but more often in unexplored wilderness ,  where its more thrilling to "spot and click".

I am also the co-author of a book “Birds of Raj Bhawan-Uttar Pradesh” and have also contributed to two coffee table books – Birds of Uttar Pradesh and Dudhwa Tiger Reserves. I have been part of studies on birds by various institutions and have contributed in my small ways by conducting or being part of  workshops and lectures on conservation of wildlife, specially of birds. I have also had the privilege of being a guest facility at the Institute of Wildlife Sciences , University of Lucknow , sharing my understanding of wildlife photography.

Wildframe is an on-line portfolio showcasing my photographic journey in pursuit of the wildlife of India. All my photographs on display in these galleries are reflective of my great passion towards wildlife. I have a special affinity towards birds and have used Wildframe as a window for everyone to look into the life of birds.   All the photographs in the website have all been taken in the natural  habitats and none of them are artificially set up or taken under controlled situations.

All my images , with a simple credit , are open to usage without any cost by any person or organization involved in any kind of non-commercial activity to help wildlife.
